24-hour unmanned self-service laundromats are very common in most parts of the world, such as Europe, America, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia, with their numbers and total revenue far exceeding those of dry cleaners. The business model of these laundromats involves consumers using machines directly at the store, with fees charged per machine. Revenue and profit are increased by maximizing machine utilization.

The pricing of self-service laundromats is relatively low. Typically, energy costs during a complete washing and drying cycle account for as much as 25-30% of revenue. In many regions, monthly energy costs even exceed shop rent, becoming the largest expense. Therefore, energy efficiency is a key factor in determining the profitability and return on investment (ROI) of a self-service laundromat.

During each extraction process in the main wash and rinse cycles, detergent residue is minimized, thereby reducing the amount of water needed for rinsing.

In the factory settings, leveraging Accutech’s superior performance, a lower distribution water level is set to save water during the distribution phase, effectively reducing total water consumption throughout the entire program and saving on water costs.

The energy cost of self-service dryers is mainly reflected in the heating stage. For Accutech gas-heated dryers, the burner’s heat value and airflow data have undergone scientific calculation and rigorous testing across various environments over long periods, effectively reducing gas consumption while ensuring drying efficiency.

Electric-heated dryers use direct heating elements. Compared to the fin-style heaters used by competitors, our premium heating elements offer higher temperatures and greater efficiency, thereby reducing electricity consumption during drying.

Additionally, by optimizing the positions of the hot air inlet and outlet, Accutech allows the hot air to travel diagonally across the entire drum via the longest path, maximizing heat utilization and lowering drying energy consumption.

The low-margin nature of the self-service laundry business highlights the critical importance of energy saving, which represents a different design philosophy compared to traditional industrial washers.
